For a growth company, angel investors are the often a source of funding, once the business model has been sufficiently proven such that the risk-level is acceptable. A typical angel round is $500,000 to $2 million (although you’ll certainly see larger and smaller rounds). Individual angels might invest anywhere from $5,000 to $100,000 or more.
